What you will find in our skin
Zinc oxide reacts by calming irritations such as rosacea or acne. It reflects UVA and UVB radiations and provides a natural sun protection (SPF).
Titanium dioxide is a white mineral powder that provides a natural sun protection (SPF) and is pigment-generating.
Mica is a mineral used to give a smooth and luminous skin.
Lingon seed oil
Lingonberry seed oil moisturizes, protects and gives a natural glow to the skin.
Cloudberry oil protects and softens the skin.
Vitamin E (also called tocopherol) is an antioxidant that has a protective effect from free radicals.
Kaolin is a clay mineral that absorbs fat and has a mattifying effect.
Iron oxide can be found in yellow, red and black pigments. They are mixed in different quantities to create a wide range of shades in products.
Taklon is one of the finest synthetic fibers. Biodegradable and hypoallergenic, it is also one of the best vegan alternatives.
What you will NEVER find in our skin products:
Nickel is allergenic. If you are exposed to it for a too long time, the allergy can become chronical. Nickel allergy causes rashes or eczema and the most common makeup products containing nickel are mascaras.
Chromium causes rashes or eczema.
Talc is used in makeup to absorb oil and to moisture. But talc has the effect of penetrating fine lines and creating an illusion of larger wrinkles.
Cyclic silicones are often found in makeup, skin and hair care products. There is a suspicion that too high levels of cyclic silicones may adversely affect the liver and the respiratory system.
Perfume in makeup is only there for giving a specific scent to it. The substances in perfume can lead to allergic reactions or eczema. It can, in some cases, even worsen asthma.
Bismuth is a pigment that gives a shimmering and shiny effect to the skin. On the other hand it can cause itchiness on sensitive skins in reaction with heat, such as during exercise or in hot climate.
Parabens are highly controversial preservatives that kill the growth of bacterias. On the other hand, studies show that parabens can have an effect on your hormonal balance.
